Donating Thousands For The Month Of Giving

Month of Giving

To celebrate the month of giving last November, we randomly selected winners from our Instagram and gave them $100 to keep, and $100 for a charity of their choice. We picked 22 winners total, for a grand total of $4,400 given out to our community of supporters & charities!

Here is a list of charities that our community donated to last month:
  • South Jersey Breast Cancer Coalition
  • Susan G. Komen Foundation
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters
  • Doctors Without Borders
  • Salvation Army
  • Feeding America
  • Lund
  • American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA)
  • Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF)
  • Leadership Foundations
  • National MS Society
  • American Red Cross
  • The Still Loved Foundation Inc.
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities
  • National Alliance on Mental Illness
  • St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
While ALL of these charities are worth a look, here's a bit more information on a few of them:

Susan B. Komen Foundation

The Susan B. Komen Foundation is committed to saving lives by investing in research to alleviate and find the cure for breast cancer. The majority of its money goes toward educating the general public on the tragedy of breast cancer and what researchers are doing to cure it.

The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army does more than stand outside grocery stores taking donations. In fact, they're often the first to arrive on the scene when natural disasters strike, ready to help. They also provide a wide array of services, from homeless shelters to job training to after-school programs.

Feeding America

Feeding America is America's "largest domestic hunger-relief organization." The organization reaches 40 million people a year through food banks, food pantries, and other hunger relief efforts.

A Vermont-focused charity, Lund believes in hope, opportunity, and family. With a special focus on families, Lund strives to break the cycle of poverty by serving parenting and pregnant teens, young adults, and adoptive families with comprehensive support.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is a charity devoted to research, support, and educational efforts related to multiple sclerosis. Ultimately, it strives to find cures and alleviations for this debilitating disease.

The American Red Cross

One of the most well-known and oldest charities in the world, The American Red Cross was started by a congressional charter. Its five main services are the provision of "lifesaving blood, disaster relief, health and safety, international services, and youth preparedness."

The National Alliance on Mental Illness

The National Alliance on Mental Illness funds research and education in the field of mental illness. It seems like almost everyone either suffers from mental illness or knows someone who does. NAMI helps people dealing with mental illness and their loved ones, as well.

Ronald McDonald House Charities

The Ronald McDonald House Charities exists to support families who have sick children. They do everything they can to provide medical care funding for needy families.
Without you, we would not be able to raise money and awareness for these great causes.
